The sounds of water fountains are supposed to engender feelings of calm and serenity. Not the one in the basement of Raffles City, though.
While eating at a fountainside restaurant there, I realised that the damned fountain there was causing the most annoying racket – much like when your neighbour’s getting their house renovated. A bit difficult to eat.

haha…i agree…the fountain is really quite irritating…and during CNY, they would have this silly walk-around-the-fountain-three-times-for-gd luck thingee…can’t see how anyone can get any luck there

You know….I kanna a couple of droplets on my arm before…. then I started to imagin things … what if my food also kanna this “Sai” water… don’t know how long they change man… if kanna my hand means also kanna my food…… YUCK….

No leh, the fountain or it’s noise never bothered me. Nice what, water shoot up and down, then got tide come in and out… aiyah, why you so sensitive one??
