Mmmm donuts…

I’m still wondering why Singaporean tastebuds never got used to Dunkin’ Donuts, while multi-millionaires have been made out of their (dunkin donuts’, not tastebuds’) franchisees in Indonesia and Malaysia.

They are good donuts, you know? And you can get them on several North South Highway (PLUS) pit-stops between here and KL.

  1. Yah, I like Dunkin Donuts too 🙂

Esp when I was in Korea, there was one Dunkin Donuts shop just at the lobby of my service apartment! 😀

And guess what? They’ve got Spicy Donut! 😛

  3. Oh gosh, I love dunkin donuts, I’ve always wondered where the section is after missing it from the 7-11 corner for some years now.

The boston cream is such heaven! O I swear, my heart goes a little faster when I savour each delightful bite.

    Sigh

  5. Last weekend, my clan of about 15 people have at least RM120 worth of Dunkin Donuts at one of the pitstop on our road trip back to Ipoh.

The makcik was rather bemused by our order, macham long time never eat donuts. 🙂

    My fav choc mint.

  7. Aiyoh, DD tastes like SHIAT! I say this with authority, having stayed in Massachusetts for 4 years. MA if of course famous for having a DD outlet at every road junction. Harvard and MIT is nothing!

But their coffee is notsobad though.

Anyways, give me Tim Horton’s anytime man!

  9. I’m American and hate Dunkin’ Donuts! Most people I know here in Colorado have switched to Krispy Kreme…much better; not sure if there are any in Asia yet!

  11. I’d love to have some Krispy Kremes! But no one seems to be opening donut joints in Singapore. They tend to do well in Malaysia and Indonesia for some reason.

  13. Well, to each his own! We’ll have to start rival gangs–KK vs. DD, LOL. I wouldn’t call it a fad though because there are plenty of people who genuinely like it better than dunkin donuts:)

Actually, I’m not really a donut person. Like I consume about 5 a year. But what the heck, I’ll be your DD rival 🙂

  17. The only dunkin donuts i’d tasted in Singpaore were pretty stale. Blame it on poor quality control, I guess.

Everyone in my old office LOVED krispy kremes tho, we wished they would start selling here.

  19. Doing a bit of research and was wondering how you guys think that Krispy Kreme’s would go in Singapore if they opened a store? Would only young people eat the donuts or would everyone enjoy them?
