I wanna say a big Thanks! to everyone who has given me comments, criticisms, suggestions and encouragement.

Forbidden City closed yesterday and for me it was rather emotional. Coming from a hardened, cynical, jaded theatre practitioner, it was a very cathartic moment for me. I will miss everyone, the cast and crew. If any of you read this, drop a note to say hi! Thank you for making these 2 months special.

Onward now to Little Shop of Horrors! Full steam ahead.

Also, do tune in to Power 98 from 6am to 10am and brighten up your mornings with us.

  • Hi Hossann, just stumbled on your blog. It was a great pleasure to work with you in FC, not to mention a whole lot of silly fun! :) Jon Lum kept trying to persuade me to die grabbing your ankle in the riot scene but I was like, hello, Hossann will stomp on my face and then Tracie will fire me afterwards, siao ah.

    I really miss everyone in the show. It truly was a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised to see how emotional everyone was after our last show; it was a great feeling knowing that I was working with people who wree truly passionate about what we had done together.

    Anyway, will be catching you in Little Shop of Horrors this weekend. Break a leg for the rest of the run!
  • Hey wasn't Forbidden City showed in Esplanade a few years ago?

    I'm in Aussieland now so I didn't know that it was shown again in Singapore.

    I really enjoyed it the last time though!

    Forbidden City was a great success. It was throughly worth it, and very enjoyable. I missed it the last two times, but i watched it twice this time round! And it was great. I'm going for the little shop of horrors too! Looking forward to watching you on the stage again! =))

    Watch forbidden city 3 years ago and the current run on 16 sept. Till now i am still listening to the sound track it make me feel that i am still watching it.. Well done good job and thanks for all the crew anc cast who brought us such a fabulous musical. Looking forward in seeing you in dim sum dollies on 5/11

    I watched Forbidden City with my friends on September 18th, and I really hope to be able to watch it again!
    FC had such a wonderful story, and really unforgettable songs! I don't tire of listening to the CD too! (:

    We enjoyed the whole musical, from start to end; comical to sad parts!

    We'll really miss you and the rest of the fantabulous actors..

    I watched the last show of Forbidden City yesterday, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great story, memorable songs, beautiful set and fantastic actors.
