Sunday raclette

Thanks to our Double-Barrelled-Race Swiss-Vietnamese friend, we had raclette last night and stank up the house full of grilled bacon ham and cheese. Mac the Dog went berserk as well.

It is all the more amaz­ing we had friends over for din­ner because the inevitable has finally hap­pened — we took deliv­ery of Kai’s plas­tic playpen walls on Sat­ur­day after­noon. His play area has now taken over the entire liv­ing room floor of our apartment.

There’s no room to move with­out stub­bing your toe on some­thing. Mac the Dog’s been hav­ing trou­ble find­ing his way back to the bed­room from the kitchen as well.

    The gate is great to make the kid stay in there when the adult doing some house­work or even bathing.
