Heart Rate Cal Right SamllSo I'm taking the IPPT today, whereby if I pass, I will not be required to go to Remedial Training Phase II.

The past few trainings have featured new gadgets the instructors call heart rake mongnitors. And they are for you to mongnitor your own cardio training, whereby you should be training at 80% of your massimun heart rake, whereby it is 220 minus your age.

I’m taking the IPPT today also. If I fail, I would have wasted both Phase I & Phase II

    Good luck!

I was fortunate enough to clear my IPPT by the skin of my teeth until I got to Cat Z and the standards dropped much faster than my fitness level, and I got a silver.

I have reservist frends who sign on RT so I understand how it feels. Good luck!

Zhihao, I heard from the PTI that last night’s test was a horror story cos of the Cat 1 storm which delayed some of the run details to 10pm. Good luck and try to enjoy Phase II.

Well done Waverly, me too! Didja see me sprawled on the pavement at the finish line?

Miyagi man, I suspect I’m addicted to your blog, and I’ve been especially drawn to the NS-related content. By the way I’m the one who saluted you for your brave RT attempt, not knowing it had been pre-arranged for you by default. Hehe…

Yes, it’s almost orgasmic to be freely SPURTing one’s creative juices via a borderless outlet! ESPECIALLY the way you subtly poke fun at the powderful england spouted by our ever-so-confident encik PTI! The “whereby” catchphrase is so telling of how proficient they are in hokkein-accented engrish.

And yes, the white-haired encik (I’m praying there are many such enciks, so I won’t be incriminated for writing this) who sat us down on the parade square before the start of one of my unfortunate RTs four years ago, started his R-rated storytelling punctuated by chee-byes and lanjiaos, even shared his lovemaking fantansies, so PROFESSIONALLY that instead of feeling lousy about landing a nomination in the RT list, I breezed through the two hours feeling psyched and perked up. Even had a hard-on when he mentioned cheebye after cheebye. Goodness man, we need enciks like him to stir up our fiery manhood!
