So much for in-flight wi-fi

Eh, Mr Miyagi, how come yoo’re not in Mr Brown’s pod­cast anymore?

I’ve never had a chance to use the in-flight inter­net ser­vice, even though it was touted to be avail­able on the Exec­u­tive Econ­omy flights (Until you look at the fine fine print and it says it’s only on Lon­don to Sin­ga­pore flights).

What a great con­cept though… maybe if they offered it more, more peo­ple would have used it.

I cer­tainly would have and I flew home to Sin­ga­pore twice this year with a hus­band who would have paid for it too. That’s two whop­ping wi-fi users dangit!

It’s avail­able for free till year end yes, on the 744’s. Usu­ally they make announce­ment about it. Then when the magic word “FREE” come out, all the lap­tops will be whipped out. Even PSP can surf too hehe, but it’s a pain cuz no key­board la.

Only on the 744s huh? I’m fly­ing later this year and I’m not sure what air­craft I’ll be on. Prob­lem is, when you fly econ­omy, you can’t plug in your lap­top to the power sup­ply to enjoy more than a cou­ple of hours of wi-fi.

Well depends on where you head­ing to. Usu­ally they use the 744’s on Lon­don, Syd­ney, some­times LA route. Lemme see what I can find out for you.

With regards to charg­ing, see if you can charm the crew in busi­ness class to let you do it. Work that Miyagi magic!!
