Because that would make it a single.

    2 shots of espresso does not make a stronger espresso. It just makes increases the amount that you are given. Does adding a 10% solu­tion to another 10% solu­tion make it a 20% solu­tion? No. it just makes a big­ger amount of 10% solution.

    Haha… I think Mr. Miyagi has no idea that some cafes are serv­ing Dou­ble Cap­puc­cino in big­ger cups. Mean­ing dou­ble the por­tions, not dou­ble the cof­fee shots. Its a com­mon ques­tion posted by guests if no descrip­tions are given.
