The Speak Good Eng­lish Cam­paign may be work­ing. But the Write Eng­lish Just As Good one hasn’t been launched yet, which explains this sign at Changi Air­port Ter­mi­nal One:

I’m not even going to ask why there’s a semi-permanent plac­ard that announces com­puter break­downs.

    Yeah, the no out­side food gets to me too. I have read signs using proper Eng­lish, telling peo­ple that food pur­chased out­side their premises are not to be con­sumed there (or some­thing like that), but I guess ‘No out­side food’ is shorter. Singlish is all about abbre­vi­a­tion, isn’t it?
