MR BROWN FOR NMP

We love Mr Brown because he is like us, a com­mon Sin­ga­porean strug­gling to feed our fam­i­lies, tak­ing joy in the sim­ple plea­sures of life like time with his child. With the exit of sen­si­ble peo­ple like Tan Cheng Bock who are actu­ally in touch with the sen­ti­ments of the man in the street, I fear for the 4 yrs ahead of us. And this is why we need some­one like mr brown in the par­lia­ment, to be a voice for the com­mon Singaporean.

Now, if only some­one knows how we can get him nominated…

I am sur­prised you’ve decided to con­tinue writ­ing for Today. For the money? Or? Not try­ing to accuse you of any­thing, but I fig­ured you’d have stuck up for your buddy and with­draw your col­umn from Today to show some sup­port for mrbrown and reflect our dis­taste for Today.

Actu­ally, I am glad Mr Miyagi is stay­ing with Today. One remain­ing “bread­win­ner” is bet­ter none. Boy­cotting is not a wise move and there are other ways to show sup­port for Mr Brown.
