I haven’t read Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code, and it doesn’t look like I’m gonna.

Still, it’s one of those books which you don’t have to actually read to know a lot about, since almost everyone I know seems to have read it, and at one time or another, has talked about it.

And, now that a movie’s being made, there’s going to be a lot more cashing in by those who reside in and around the environs of the locations mentioned in the story.

Someone I know has had the good fortune of taking a tour of the “Da Vinci Trail” as part of television’s coverage of the behind the scenes of the making of the Da Vinci movie, or something like, which is great, because vicarious travel’s as good as the real thing when you can’t afford it.

I’ve got a bunch of photos which I’ll post here in the coming days, and youse all can tell me the significance of each one in relation to the book/film.
