Menotti doesn't serve water

Well, they’re not the only estab­lish­ment with the no-plain-water pol­icy, I’m sure.

But woe betide the ones I patro­n­ise that don’t serve me a free glass of water after I’ve had a lob­ster lin­guine and a dou­ble espresso. To hell with your Panna sparkling min­eral water! I dowan!

Will you give me a glass of water if I order a dou­ble shot latte?

Um…no.

    Menotti and Garibaldi are run by the same folks, so yeah, no won­der they have the same (lame) pol­icy. I know that in Italy, restau­rants cus­tom­ar­ily serve bot­tled water because tap water isn’t drink­able — but this isn’t Italy now, is it?

    Bak­erzin doesn’t serve water either. Pah!

    Menotti and Garibaldi are run by the same folks, so yeah, no won­der they have the same (lame) pol­icy. I know that in Italy, restau­rants cus­tom­ar­ily serve bot­tled water because tap water isn’t drink­able — but this isn’t Italy now, is it?

    We’ve been away for a veeeeeeryyyy veeeeeryyyy long time and it looks like its gonna stay that way cos life has taken over and everyone’s gone their sep­a­rate ways.

    Techno Tel­ugu is pimpin’ on the gold coast while get­ting his mas­ters and Tay-Tarik is teach­ing part time at a pre­mier JC *cough­hwa­chong­cough­cough*. The rest of us, still in skool but hardly ever hang out bcos time table all one kind of koyak.

    Any­way, we were just trawl­ing thru look­ing for news abt tt durai and wanted to say hi.

    Thanx for all your sup­port when were doing The HLs. Hope you laughed as much as we did.

    For esplanade goers, Al Dente Trat­to­ria at esplanade does not serve water too !!! Panna sparkling min­eral water is what they offer …but with a price definately !
