Brain dunno go where

There are some things you really shouldn’t do. Like try­ing to get up from your desk to go to the toi­let when you’ve still got your head­phones on your head.

Good thing my lap­top is quite heavy, and I didn’t so much yank the com­puter and some periph­er­als off the desk as much as re-injure my neck. (You got that? From the head­phones. Not from Kama­su­tra Posi­tion #23: Self-Love)

Absent-mindedness has been a fea­ture this week. I’ve left the phone at home when going out, locked myself out of the office, for­got­ten to eat lunch, tried to use the car remote to open my house door and even dri­ven out bare­foot before turn­ing back home to get my shoes.

    Your pix of the chiobu today is inter­est­ing, the award in her hands seemed about to hook onto the tie.
    Won­der if the events fol­low­ing the shot would have had the same impact as your head­phone incident.

    cor­rect me if i’m wrong, but the girl in the photo acted in 1st sea­son local pro­duc­tion “lightyears” right? and she’s the same girl in your yel­low cab in NY pic.

    and about the headphones-yanking-effect, that’s one way to wake you up from your stu­por. the worst was when i was blast­ing techno (yeah tiu-tiu-tiu) late late night with them on, and then i got up, the thing unplugged and pretty much woke up my whole fambly.

    i neaerly did the neck sprain thing, but my head­phones have long wires ;-) lucky me.

    and erm, if your head­phones have the plas­tic head­band thingy that goes round the back of your head, don’t lean back against the head-rest =P
